WHO ARE WE?

We are GoT Direwolves. A unique Game of Thrones® experience in Northern Ireland that allows fellow mega fans the chance to retrace the steps of their favourite characters and meet two of the Starks’ direwolves, our pets who acted in the show, Odin and Thor – better known to you as Summer and Greywind!

We’re Odin and Thor! When we were pups we played Summer and Grey Wind, Robb and Bran Stark’s Direwolves on HBO’s hit television show, Game of Thrones®. Re-watch episode one if you don’t believe us! As pups, we trained with experts who taught us how to be real Direwolves so when we got on set we knew just what to do to be the fierce Stark House sigil we were destined to be!

Since retiring from being Summer and Grey Wind, we now enjoy exploring Northern Ireland with our owners and the tours they host. We love ice cream, belly rubs, playing tag, giving slobbery kisses, late night beach walks, hunting for White Walkers and taking naps. If you want to learn more about hanging out with us, check out the information below!

Since our days on set, we have traveled Ireland exploring Game of Thrones® filming locations with our owners on tours that you can experience too. During the tours, you’ll visit the original Winterfell, Robb’s camp, the Haunted Forest, Walder Frey’s The Twins, and other locations used for filming. Not only will you get to meet us, but speak with our owners who appear as extras in the series and have appeared in episodes such as “Battle of the Bastards,” “Hardhome,” and “Ice Lake” scenes from season 7. We hope to see you soon! In the meantime, follow our page to keep up with all our adventures!

  •   16 Jun 2018 We'd booked the tour just 3 weeks before arriving to Belfast and were completely blown away by the amount of information and sites we'd seen in just one day (we never realised how beautiful Northern Ireland actually is). William Mulhall and his...More

We met our guide Madeline and Ian our driver,at the pick up point, at 9am and from the off it was obvious that we were in for a great day. Madeline and Ian made Terri and myself feel welcome and comfortable. Madeline is a passionate advocate of the good GoT has done for the community of Belfast, most of the initial journey to our first stop at Inch Abbey was spent listening to Madeline tell stories of her personal experience in the cast of the show which was fascinating. Inch Abbey is beautiful and a great chance to get your geek on and take some photos. Back on the clean and comfortable coach our friendly driver Ian professionally wound his way through the stunning countryside of Ireland, I swear Ian could thread a needle behind his back, you'll see what I mean when there's an inch to spare going through some of the gates. Once parked up in Tolleymore woods it was time to hit the trail, sturdy footwear is highly recommended, we were treated to the stunning and varied forest and kept entertained by Madeline's facts and personal experiences of the show. It's a good walk with steep hills but well worth the effort as you'll see and have great photos of some key scenes from the first episode. By the time we made it back to the coach we were all please to see Ian the driver who... Now it was time to meet direwolves which was a fantastic experience not only to see the beautiful dogs but we were regaled with stories of a real life Dolthraki slave master and learned how the show had changed the lives of this lovely family. They're genuinely nice guys who love talking about their experiences well worth spending time chatting with them if you get chance.
The last stop of the day was to Winterfell itself were our excellent host showed us more clips and slides while we enjoyed the stunning coastal path past the hanging tree to Robs war camp and finally to Walder Freys towers.
By the time we returned I can honestly say we were all knackered but had really enjoyed an unforgettable day made special by our fantastic hosts Madeline and Ian.
Thank you both Andrew and Terri More
