WHO ARE WE?

We are GoT Direwolves. A unique Game of Thrones® experience in Northern Ireland that allows fellow mega fans the chance to retrace the steps of their favourite characters and meet two of the Starks’ direwolves, our pets who acted in the show, Odin and Thor – better known to you as Summer and Greywind!

We’re Odin and Thor! When we were pups we played Summer and Grey Wind, Robb and Bran Stark’s Direwolves on HBO’s hit television show, Game of Thrones®. Re-watch episode one if you don’t believe us! As pups, we trained with experts who taught us how to be real Direwolves so when we got on set we knew just what to do to be the fierce Stark House sigil we were destined to be!

Since retiring from being Summer and Grey Wind, we now enjoy exploring Northern Ireland with our owners and the tours they host. We love ice cream, belly rubs, playing tag, giving slobbery kisses, late night beach walks, hunting for White Walkers and taking naps. If you want to learn more about hanging out with us, check out the information below!

Since our days on set, we have traveled Ireland exploring Game of Thrones® filming locations with our owners on tours that you can experience too. During the tours, you’ll visit the original Winterfell, Robb’s camp, the Haunted Forest, Walder Frey’s The Twins, and other locations used for filming. Not only will you get to meet us, but speak with our owners who appear as extras in the series and have appeared in episodes such as “Battle of the Bastards,” “Hardhome,” and “Ice Lake” scenes from season 7. We hope to see you soon! In the meantime, follow our page to keep up with all our adventures!

  •   We can't speak highly enough about the GoT Direwolves tour we took earlier this week. Our guide for the day was Andrew, who has worked as an extra on Game of Thrones since season 5. He was very knowledgeable, and had lots of stories to...More

What an amazing tour. I cant rate it enough. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting the very handsome direwolves Odin and Thor but as extras from the show are involved you learn a lot about what happened behind the scenes. Our tour guide Molly was an absolute delight so friendly with such a upbeat personality she really brought the locations to life. A definite must for any Game of Thrones fan.

I was given this tour for my 30th birthday present from my family and it was also me and my fiancé’s first visit to Northern Ireland. We found the meeting site no problem at all as well as the mini bus we would be touring around in, driven by the lovely Alastair. Our tour guide was Madeline, a super passionate beautiful person inside and out, and you could really feel how much she adored game of thrones and valued her experience as an extra on the show. Nothing was a problem for her and she took loads of photos for everyone at different locations and really went all out to make our trip amazing. Madeline and Alastair’s banter on the bus was also hilarious. Meeting the direwolves was just incredible; they are beautiful dogs and Will showed us an amazing scrapbook of him and his family’s experience working in game of thrones. The locations were stunning. This tour was a great way to see different places in Northern Ireland and it was really breathtaking. We were really lucky with the weather being warm and sunny. Lots of walking which we enjoyed too! The pub restaurant we stopped at was also Lovely with great food and it gave us a chance to speak to the different people on the tour with us (there were about 29 of us I think) and we got the absolute pleasure of sitting with Mark and... Cannot recommend this tour enough! For me it was one of the best experiences being a huge GOT fan and I have so many amazing memories to treasure! I can honestly say that now I am back home in Scotland I seriously miss Northern Ireland!! More

  •   We had an excellent guide Molly who was an extra many times on GOT so gave us a lot of background information.
At each stop she played us the clip from the series so we could see everything in context. She also had screenshots which she took out to each scene area to show what had been done.
We then met the Direwolves, lovely animals. Their owner was also an extra and his father played the Dothraki slave master and lived showing us his scrapbook and giving stories.
A great tour for the GOT's fan.

We enjoyed our time with Andy, Odin and Thor. Full of insightful anecdotes from his time working on the series and allowing us a peek into what it was like working with the cast. The walks were incredibly beautiful and allowed us to get away from Belfast to explore other parts of Northern Ireland.

Thank you for such a memorable experience!
