You can also always contact us via our Facebook page and have a quick chat via messenger if you have any questions!

1What time does the tour leave, and when does it return?
Tour Departs City Hall 8:45 AM. Tour gets back into Belfast around 6:00 PM. The tour runs for around 9 hours, with limited time in the coach.
2Do you allow children?
As Game of Thrones is an 18+ show, we do not recommend bringing your child on the tour. There is strong language and some clips show violence and nudity. This is why we provide an adult ticket price only.
3Are the treks on even ground and easily accessed?
Some treks during the tour are around 2K in distance. They pass through forest and along coastline. We do not recommend taking the trek i fyou find difficulty walking or standing for a decent length of time.
4Can I book the Direwolves and you for an Event?
We can attend a number of events, ranging from simple appearances to Game of Thrones themed events. We have appeared at weddings and can travel overseas to events. Contact us at Howl@GOTDirewolves.com
5Is lunch a part of the tour?
We stop for lunch at a restaurant during the tour, but the cost of lunch is not included in the tour fee. You will need to pay for lunch when we stop. During the Direwolves tour we stop around 2:00 PM for lunch. During the Dragon tour we stop around 11:40 PM for lunch.
6Does the Restaurant take Euros?
Yes, the restaurant takes both Sterling and Euros, and they have a card payment service.
7What clothing should I wear?
Think of it as going for a forest walk. Sturdy shoes and waterproofs would be recommended. It wouldn’t be Ireland without a little rain so bring a coat.
8Can you get photographs with the Direwolves?
Yes, you can get photos with Summer and Greywind and make your friends super jealous! Listen to the guide on how to get a photo with Odin and Thor. Don’t forget to tag us on Instagram @GOT_Direwolves.
9Do you provide Private tours?
Yes we supply private tours with 4 spaces. It includes the guide as the driver. This would have to be organised several days in advance. We can also arrange for a chauffeur to drive customers.

Reviews from GoT Fans:

  •   This was a fantastic day. A private tour with Andrew our guide and Ian the driver. As an extra on the show Andrew has great inside knowledge and stories to tell. The locations are stunning and posing with shots from the series in the locations, we could pretend we were there. A full day, full of memories to treasure and keep. We had so many laughs and still have our dark hedges wands! Highly recommended. Do not miss this opportunity you will not be disappointed.

We met our guide Madeline and Ian our driver,at the pick up point, at 9am and from the off it was obvious that we were in for a great day. Madeline and Ian made Terri and myself feel welcome and comfortable. Madeline is a passionate advocate of the good GoT has done for the community of Belfast, most of the initial journey to our first stop at Inch Abbey was spent listening to Madeline tell stories of her personal experience in the cast of the show which was fascinating. Inch Abbey is beautiful and a great chance to get your geek on and take some photos. Back on the clean and comfortable coach our friendly driver Ian professionally wound his way through the stunning countryside of Ireland, I swear Ian could thread a needle behind his back, you'll see what I mean when there's an inch to spare going through some of the gates. Once parked up in Tolleymore woods it was time to hit the trail, sturdy footwear is highly recommended, we were treated to the stunning and varied forest and kept entertained by Madeline's facts and personal experiences of the show. It's a good walk with steep hills but well worth the effort as you'll see and have great photos of some key scenes from the first episode. Now it was time to meet direwolves which was a fantastic experience not only to see the beautiful dogs but we were regaled with stories of a real life Dolthraki slave master and learned how the show had changed the lives of this lovely family. They're genuinely nice guys who love talking about their experiences well worth spending time chatting with them if you get chance.
The last stop of the day was to Winterfell itself were our excellent host showed us more clips and slides while we enjoyed the stunning coastal path past the hanging tree to Robs war camp and finally to Walder Freys towers.
By the time we returned I can honestly say we were all knackered but had really enjoyed an unforgettable day made special by our fantastic hosts Madeline and Ian.
Thank you both Andrew and Terri More
